Have you had those times that you go through your phone but you can't find your pictures, videos, musics and other things you have on your memory card, when connected to laptop you see your data but just can't view them on your phone.You end up formatting, destroying or throwing it away only to get another memory card and have it do same thing.... You end up saying "All these China things can mess up" ( I have gone through that so I know)
It is very frustrating, My younger sister had that problem sometime ago and she came to me, what I did was copy the files save them, format the memory card and add them again, this I did again and again as it keeps happening until I couldn't see the data through the laptop and she was like ah! ah! thought you know about tech, this should be a piece of cake for you, I was somewhat embarrassed so I went digging...
It happens most times to Blackberry phones.. You may wonder what causes those data to disappear, it is some kind of virus that had its way maybe through a laptop to your phones that gets the data hidden
Recover Your Files
- Connect the device in USB mode. (Note the Drive letter of the infected drive)
- Go to Start > Run > (Windows Button + R) then type cmd
- The MSDOS prompt shows, then type the drive letter you noted earlier, e.g E: and press enter.
- The MSDOS should show E:\> by now, So, go ahead and type attrib -S -H /S /D * and press enter
- Type exit and Gbam! All your files are back.
