Samsung’s making a strong foundation with its Galaxy line up of
smartphones offering premium experience in a not so cheap body, all
covered in a plastic shell ofcourse. But this doesn’t stop Samsung from
becoming the major smartphone dealer, because what it packs inside that
plastic body is something innovative improving with each iteration of
the Galaxy line up.
Galaxy S6- Creating a new breed of high-end smartphones
With Samsung Galaxy S5, the company has created a different segment of
smartphone altogether. And now the S6 is expected to come with a
plethora of high end features which will lure you instantly. Samsung
Galaxy S6 will be a high end smartphone that will come with plethora of
features. The device will run on the latest version of android operating
system and will be powered by dual core processing unit. In terms of
performance, Galaxy S6 will be one of the best devices in the market.
The poly carbonate body will give it an exceptional look. The device
will be available in multiple color option so that you can choose your
favorite one. Without any doubt, Galaxy S6 is expected to be one of the
best smart phones when it will be released next year.
Expected Specification and major features of galaxy S6
The device will be available in 16, 32, 64 gigabyte version which can be
expanded with external card. Galaxy S6 might come with 20 megapixel
shooter in the front and 5 megapixel HD cameras for video calling. You
can record and play high definition content on this device. Samsung
Galaxy S6 is expected to dominate the smartphone segment. You can also
play high definition content seamlessly on your phone. Samsung Galaxy S6
will be powered by sixteen core processing unit that can handle
multiple applications without any hassles. The RAM is expected to be 4
gigabytes making it one of the most powerful devices in the market. The
screen size could be anything ranging from 5.5 inch to 6.0 inch and will
host features like HD IPS and ULTRA AMOLED screen. Large clear black
display will ensure that you can seamlessly browse through the screen
even under heavy sunlight. The device will run on latest version of
Android operating system from Google. One of the most astonishing
features of this device is the build quality and Samsung is expected to
keep up with water and dust proof features just like Galaxy S5.
Galaxy S6 Body
Galaxy S6’s predecessor, the S5 had a plastic body, polycarbonate in
tech language to be precise. Although sturdy enough, the phone was prone
to scuffs and cracks while the extra bezel protects the screen from
shattering. The Galaxy S6 will be a premium like the Galaxy Note 4
, the next in line phablet. Like the Note 4 which is all rumoured to
have an all metal casing, the Galaxy S6 will be coming with aluminium
edges and a metal rear side promising better protection from dents,
scratches and other beating that you can give to the smartphone. While
this is premium to say, it has something nifty under the metal casing,
one which we saw in the Galaxy S5 recently, the IP certified rating for
dustproof and waterproof capabilities. Take a dive or wander in the
desert or any dusty sandy areas for that matter, your Galaxy S6 will
survive.
Galaxy S6 Display
AMOLED is the word that comes to mind when we talk about Galaxy lineups,
because the technology itself had a huge impact on smartphone users.
The AMOLED panel promises a vivid multimedia experience in any lighting
condition. Reaching the 1080P range, the AMOLED panel in Galaxy S5
almost beat the IPS LCD panels in readability in direct sunlight. The
Galaxy S6 is speculated to have either a QHD panel with a total
resolution of 2560x1440 in a 5.5 inch panel or a 3840x2160 in the same
5.5 inch panel, yes 4K all the way. No matter how you look at it, vivid
is the term that could describe the display. 4K or QHD, the Galaxy S6
will be your ideal multimedia partner.
Galaxy S6 Camera
Samsung’s ISOCELL technology proved its worth with stellar performance
in the Galaxy S5 and shooting for top ranking DXOMARK. The Note 4 is
rumoured to have a 12 Megapixel camera with OIS, but the Galaxy S6 is
going all the way to 20 Megapixel mark. OIS or Digital is the question,
but either way the Galaxy S6 promises to give perfectly balanced and
exposed pics in any lighting condition. 4K being a standard, we might
also be seeing a bump in frames too, with 4K being offered in 60fps.
Galaxy S6 Processor
The Galaxy S6 is going to be a powerhouse offering best in line hardware
and software experience. As is always, there will be two variants with a
Qualcomm SoC and Samsung’s in house Exynos SoC. The Qualcomm one will
be a Snapdragon 810 coupled with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and the other with
Exynos 6, an octa core variant with the same memory module. Either way,
the Galaxy S6 is a powerhouse, and the new SoCs will be bringing in a
slew of features including the all new 64 bit architecture to Android
although Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might have it beat with its Exynos 5433.
Expected Battery and storage & Connectivity of Upcoming Galaxy S6
The Galaxy S6 is expected to be powered by a 4000mAH lithium ion battery
which provides sufficient back up even under heavy usage. The device
will offer a talk time of approximately 36 hours in 2 G mode and 18-20
hours in 3G mode. You can also listen to music for more than 50 hours on
the device. It can play high definition videos consistently. In term of
performance and battery life, it will be one of the most powerful
devices in the market. Samsung Galaxy S6 will come with 16 gigabyte of
internal storage which can be expanded to 128 gigabytes via external
card. Its internal memory will be ample enough to for all high end
applications and games. So if you are looking to make the most out of
your smartphone experience then Samsung Galaxy S6 is the perfect option
for you. The device might also come with 4 gigabyte RAM to support high
end applications and games. The Galaxy S6 might come with connectivity
features like 3G, LTE, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, WI-FI direct and
tethering support.. Apart from this it will also offer advanced
connectivity features like tethering and hotspot. Google maps will come
pre-installed with the device. The multimedia experience is simply
amazing with Galaxy S6. With the memory storage capacity of up to 128
GB, the user can store messages, photos and videos in the phone with
ease. Also, the magnificently comfortable to operate 8 Mega Pixel camera
provide the facility of clicking and video recording to the user. The
phone is expected to be available in the sophisticated white colour for
those who like to grab a decent phone that adds to their style.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date
As you would expect Samsung has yet to offer any official details on the
long off Samsung Galaxy S6 release date. However, that doesn’t mean we
don’t have an idea as to when the phone will launch.
Like Apple, Samsung has become a creature of habit, with the company’s
annual product cycles bringing a level of expectation to certain points
in the year. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 set to launch around IFA
2014 this September, a Samsung Galaxy S6 release date can be expected to
 echo those of its predecessors.
Since the Samsung Galaxy S2, the Korean manufacturer’s flagship phone
line has been reserved for unveiling during – or within weeks of – the
Barcelona-based Mobile Word Congress conference in February. As such
there is no reason to believe this will be different for the S6.
With MWC 2015 to be held between March 2 and 5, we would anticipate that
the Samsung Galaxy S6 release date could be confirmed during the
manufacturer’s dedicated press conference on either Sunday 1 or Monday 2
 March.
We will of course update this post as soon as more concrete Samsung Galaxy S6 release date details are available.
