Finally, the most awaited gadget for the world iPhone 5 has been launched. iPhone version exists from 2007, but Apple this year give it a new face or say avatar which is made of glass and aluminium. The report says that iPhone 5 launched officially on 12^th September 2012 i.e. Wednesday.
Apple has designed it in such a way that it satisfies the entire requirement for being a Smartphone like it is taller, lighter, and shinier and a lot more. The iPhone 5 has a larger screen with a connectivity of 4G and a slightly tweaked design. The new iPhone 5 is the world’s thinnest Smartphone with 7.6mm (0.3 inches).

• The iPhone 5 is available with a feature of 4G connectivity. Its screen is made of glass and aluminium. The screen looks very fantastic and is larger than its earlier versions. It comes with IOS 6 which is a wealth of new features. Overall, it looks very much pretty.

• The iPhone 5 is 7.66mm thick which is almost 18% thinner than its predecessor iPhone 4S and have a weight of just 112 gram, again 20% lighter than 4S. It packs a phenomenal Retina display with 326 pixels per inch, 1136×640 pixel resolutions and 16:9 aspect ratio for full-screen movie playback.

• Apple has reworked to provide the battery of iPhone 5 with a standby time of 225 hours. This standby time also includes the working with 8 hours on 3G and 4G LTE browsing, 8 hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours of video playback and 40 hours of music play.

• iPhone 5 camera specification is not so good as its rear camera is only 8MP with high definition. Some more feature of this Phone is that it is 25% smaller than the snapper on iPhone 4S that include dynamic low light mode, sapphire crystal and precision lens alignment.

• For this iPhone 5, Apple has designed a new ear pod which is of round shaped and provides better quality of sound through it. It’s LTE 4G functionality helps in transferring the data at a much faster rate.

• Its new Maps app having Apple-designed cartography, turn-by-turn navigation and Flyover view. It also boasts of Facebook integration in contacts and calendar apps, with the option to post directly from Notification Center.

• The new mobile operating system has 200 new features than the previous edition. iOS 6 also brings more control over calls and messages and Passbook, new Siri features, and Facebook and Siri-enabled apps like Photos, Safari and Maps.

• The iPhone 5 has one more feature that it will come with a nanosim which was not announced by Apple during launching of this Smartphone but was clarified later on.

All the features of iPhone 5, produced by Apple are outstanding except its camera megapixel feature. I think that the company should work on increasing the MP of its Rear camera.

Releasing Date of iPhone 5

Apple has decided to release this iPhone 5 in US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore on 21^st September which is followed by 22 more countries on 28^th September. But, it has decided to start iPhone 5 pre-order from 14^th September i.e. Friday.
Further, Apple did not announce any launching or releasing date of iPhone 5 in India. But, according to Report it is expected to arrive in India by starting November.
All these features and growing rate of iPhone 5 of Apple has made other major mobile companies to think about their Smartphone and launch something new that can compete with iPhone 5. I hope that such things happen as it will increase the competition in mobile market and the Customers will get with some more enhanced Smartphones to them.
